UndergraduatesManagement Development ProgramOpportunities are available for graduating college seniors to enter our Management Development Program. All majors are welcome, but successful candidates must possess a strong intellect, excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated work ethic. Our college graduates are expected to advance to the General Manager level, running a $1.5-2 Million dollar business, within 24 months. Many of our successful candidates are becoming General Managers in 12-18 months. At Steak n Shake, the rate of your advancement is directly linked to your level of accomplishment, intelligence and ambition. Individuals capable of multi-unit leadership can advance to the District Manager level, assuming leadership of 5-10 units with revenues of $10-15 Million in 30-36 months.Growth positions are available in Missouri, Indiana, Illinois, Florida, Michigan, Georgia, Ohio, Kentucky, Iowa, Kansas, Tennesee, North Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Candidates open to relocation have great opportunities for advancement within the organization.
