Over and over again we hear that our people stay with us because they enjoy the people they work with. At Steak n Shake, you get to have an impact on peoples’ lives by making their work environment fun and exciting.
One way Steak n Shake makes working here fun is through special recognition events and awards. Every year we spend approximately one million dollars on special awards and events to celebrate our accomplishments. These range from trips to a local amusement park, casino nights and banquet dinners to accomplishment plaques, vacation packages and a free year’s lease on a new Ford Mustang.
The point is, Steak n Shake values people and wants to make their work environment enjoyable. This is evident when you look at our 25-year club. This program celebrates those Associates who have been with the company for 25 years or more and currently has over 90 Associates in it.
